Subdivisions and Private Land Developments
Tiaki Engineering Consultants provide an all-inclusive service that fulfills the roading needs of subdivisional land developers and private land owners. Working closely with our Clients, we design, specify, consent, procure and manage minor roading projects to Client, Council, and regulatory requirements.
Beyond the financial and physical outcomes of a project, our duty of care extends, as can be reasonably expected, to the promotion of safe work practices and environmental care. Stormwater is typically always included while other services can be incorporated as required.
Our clients are integrally involved in the specification of the work brief, and as the project progresses, they receive regular and detailed progress updates. TECL strives to always be available to answer technical queries.
Conceptual Design
Working directly with our Client – on-site, in person, or otherwise – we will take the Client’s requirements and overall project goals into consideration alongside the legal and practical constraints of the project. TECL will prepare conceptual and preliminary design layouts for Client review and feedback, and adjust the design as necessary to satisfy the Client’s requirements.

Specification and Consenting
Once a conceptual design is agreed upon, we will prepare detailed design drawings and contract documentation for consent, tender, or construction purposes. The Schedule of Quantities and Engineer’s Estimates will follow, and with all these documents we can obtain the necessary approvals to proceed.

Tendering and MSQA
TECL can develop and facilitate the tender process to obtain the best possible outcome for our Client. Once work commences, TECL can undertake contract management, project surveillance, and quality assurance (MSQA) of the physical works on behalf of our Client.
