In-House Topography
Tiaki Engineering Consultants have an experienced internal team who undertakes precision topographical site surveying as part of our everyday engineering and as-built projects.
We have our own survey equipment, including a total station, a long-distance laser rangefinder, and a high-resolution GPS unit. These allow our team to take measurements and inform revisions at short notice, greatly improving our efficiency.
As integral aspects of our end-to-end service, TECL will provide regular progress updates, answer technical queries, and deliver high-quality surveying information on all engineering design projects and as-built surveys of civil infrastructure.
TECL does not undertake cadastral surveying (legal property boundary surveying).
Notable Project: TCC Wastewater Renewals
TECL was contracted by Tauranga City Council for engineering design services on the wastewater renewal projects at Simpson Road, Hartford Avenue and Girven Road.
Work undertaken by the TECL topographical survey team included a full site survey of the existing road reserve, marking and measure up of the underground services (including pipeline invert levels), and preparing the compiled data for incorporation into engineering design services for the client (TCC). On-site contractor liaison included collaborating with traffic control providers and underground service locate providers.
